ENTRANCE TO KOREAN NATIONAL PARK 1958 Photo Courtesy Of  Walter Filsinger.  Does anyone remember where this park was located ???  Contact Don.

I'm not certain, but this may be the entrance to Soyusan Park. I was stationed at Casey in 73-74, and just north of Camp Casey, on the other side of the mountain (Soyu Mountain)  that borders the north side of Casey, was Soyusan park, a popular place for the locals to go and GI's as well. It had a number of tea houses and Korean restaurants at the base, and many trails that people hiked. I went there a few times in the summer. Just a guess. Can't tell much from the photo, but if it was close to Camp Casey, that may be it.  It was just a few minutes by cab from the Casey main gate.
