13TH ENGINEER COMBAT BATTALION which was
supporting the 17TH Reg. Thanks! to the Daughter

This is one of the many bridges built by the
13th Engineers during World War II. This
bridge was on the island of Leyte.

Battalion in commemoration of the liberation
of the Phillipines December 6 -31, 1944
Children liberated by the 17th Infantry
Regiment and 13th Engineer (C) Battalion
in the Phillipines. It appears to be an
orphanage and one of the happier days
of the war.
